Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made several big announcements about women in the state. In fact, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in his recent announcement said, "If there is a property in the name of women, registration charges will not have to be paid.'' At the same time, CM said, "We have decided that some ration shops will be run by women's self-help groups. Women will also procure foodgrains at some procurement centres. Women from SHGs will also deposit village electricity bills and 10 per cent of the total recovery will be credited to their accounts. The nutrition food plant will also be operated by Self Help Groups.''

All these announcements were made by CM Shivraj in Shivpuri as per the information received. He also laid the foundation stone and dedicated schemes worth about Rs 103 crore to women belonging to SHGs. He also asked women to be entrusted with the responsibility of ration shops and distribution of procurement of wheat and paddy. In addition, he said, "Now ration shops will be given to women from Self Help Groups. Women will also be entrusted with the responsibility of procurement and distribution of paddy. This will free women from the helplessness of remaining weak. When the sister has money in her hand, the husband and mother-in-law will do everything. Earlier, when a son was born, there were fires and if there was a daughter, so there was frustration, but now the days have changed.''

He further said, 'When a child tells me that Mama, I am your darling Lakshmi, my mind becomes happy. The Chief Minister keeps coming and going, but when there was a dishonest Congress government, he took away the 1,000 rupees that the Saharia tribals used to get. We started again. Those who give land property in the name of women will be exempted.''
