Congress to protest on rising inflation in MP, will perform on December 19

Bhopal: There is big news for the people of Madhya Pradesh. Electricity prices have increased here. Recently Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has released new tariff for 2020-21. Due to the new tariff, electricity rates have been made 1.98% more expensive. Talking about new tariff rates, then it is being said to come into force from 26 December 2020. If you agree to the new rates, if you spend up to 50 units of electricity, then you will have to pay an additional five rupees.

You will have to pay 12 rupees on 100 units and 22.50 rupees on 150 units. Where earlier up to 10 HP electric load was required to pay Rs 700 annually, now it will have to pay Rs 750 annually. Earlier the electricity load of more than 10 HP was required to pay Rs 1400 annually, now it will have to pay Rs 1500 annually. Seeing the rise in electricity rates, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has targeted the Shivraj government.

Recently, Kamal Nath said, "Congress will protest on December 19 on rising inflation". Kamal Nath wrote in his tweet, 'This time the BJP, which is giving slogans to the government giving relief from inflation, is constantly throwing people into the fire of inflation. After the skyrocketing prices of petrol - diesel, a huge increase in the prices of LPG cylinders and now an increase in electricity rates. Even in the Corona crisis, who gave the slogan of 'Mahangai Dayan Khay Jaat Hai', they are crushing the people under the burden of inflation. '

Further, he has written, 'The Congress government had provided relief to the public by giving 100 units of electricity for 100 rupees, but the BJP government has cheated the people by making electricity expensive. Congress is celebrating protest day in support of petrol-diesel price hike and farmer movement in the state on December 19, on that day the Congress will also strongly oppose this power rate hike and demand withdrawal of this price increase in the public interest.
