17 Years Saroj Rai First Woman Bus Conductor, Know Her Story With Us

You must have heard about the female bus driver and conductor. But today we are telling you the story of women bus conductors, the difficulties of their lives made them even more inspiring and great.

We are talking about Saroj Rai, the first woman bus conductor of Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh. Faced with every difficulty of life, he fulfilled this task responsibly for 17 years and presented a new example in front of the world. Saroj says that his mother died when he was only 2 years old. In childhood, the father was raised, but at the age of 16, he forcibly married a drunken boy. She started to be fed up with her drunken husband's antics and left her after a few days of marriage after being upset.

After leaving her husband, Saroj became lonely, but she did not give up and faced all the troubles, she opened an egg shop at the bus stand. The shop could not succeed, but Saroj had now made up his mind to do something and then he decided to become a booking agent in passenger buses. Saroj has been working as a booking agent (conductor) for the past 17 years. Saroj does not live near her husband, lives in her maternal house, and has been living self-sufficient for so many years. Today Saroj has become an inspiration for millions of women across the country, who lose courage after facing harassment from society and loved ones.
