Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has also canceled examinations from first to eighth and has given general promotion to the children of first to eighth grade. The department has already issued orders in this regard. The board examinations have also been postponed due to the lockdown of the entire country by 14 April. The examinations of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (Mashiman) for class X and XII have been postponed due to Corona. The department is waiting for the permission of the central government for general promotion to class X and XII. The principal secretary of the department, Rashmi Arun Shami, says that they are also waiting for the decision of CBSE. If general promotion will be given to students of class 10 and twelfth grade of MP board, then they will face difficulty in admission in colleges. It is noteworthy that tenth and twelfth and entrance examinations have also been postponed in the CBSE board. Where academics also say that it will not be appropriate to give general promotion in tenth and twelfth, because there will be problem in further admission and job. Board candidates also do not want general promotion. General promotion will be given from first to eighth grade. Due to Corona, the fifth and eighth annual examinations have been canceled across the state. The school education department has issued orders that after March 20, the upcoming examinations of both classes are canceled. With this, there will be no re-examination of children. The annual results will be declared by providing grading of children on the basis of first half yearly examination or talent festival evaluation.
