The tweet reads, 'Hindu Mahasabha leader joins Congress: Councilor of ward 44 of Gwalior and leader of Hindu Mahasabha, Shri Babulal Chaurasia, joined Congress today in presence of state president Kamal Nath. Mr. Chaurasia ji is welcomed in the Congress family.' Babulal has returned home because he was also involved in the Congress earlier. Because of not getting the ticket in the last election, he rebelled against the Congress and contested the election on the ticket of Hindu Mahasabha. Congress candidate Shammi Sharma was defeated during that time. Currently, several party leaders were present during Babulal Chaurasia's return to the Congress, including Gwalior South MLA Pravin Pathak and Block President Santosh Sharma.
