MP girl steals money from temple to buy wheat, Police didn't show mercy

We have always heard that there is no other crime in the whole world as much as being poor.  An embarrassing incident showing the culmination of this insensitivity of human has emerged from Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. Where a 12-year-old innocent was arrested on theft charges and sent to a child improvement home 450 km away.

The girl live with her father in a hut.  The girl's father had given him 10 kg of wheat to grind, which the girl returned after giving it to the flour mill. When the girl came back after some time to get the dough, the shopkeeper told the girl that her bag had been lost. On hearing this, the girl got shocked and in front of her eyes the picture of the little brothers and father, who were waiting for the bread, began to appear. When the girl did not understand anything, she took out 250 rupees from the donation box of a nearby temple and bought 10 kg of flour for her family. But this whole scene of withdrawal of money was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the temple. After this, the ugly game between capitalism and hunger started for years. On the complaint of the temple administration, the police arrested the girl by registering an FIR under the sections of theft and house penetration. After this, the innocent was presented in the juvenile court, but the presiding officer was on leave that day, so the police sent her to the child improvement home 450 km away.

But, it is said that even though darkness has reached its peak in the world, a lamp is enough to erase it. In this case too, Sagar collector Preeti Maithil Nayak came as the lamp for the girl herself. When Collector Preeti came to know about this, she herself reached the District Court and got the girl's bail. Not only this, she also gave 10 thousand rupees to the girl's father, so that he could go to Shahdol, 450 km away and bring his daughter back. But seeing the brutal face of the police in this case which gives a shock to the spirit, it does not take heart to believe that the police is actually made for the safety of the public.
