Dhar: The fear of the dreaded animals is increasing day by day. Now a 7-year-old child died in a leopard attack at Bheru Ghat of Amjhera police station, about 50 km from Dhar district headquarters. Subdivisional forest officer Rakesh Kumar Damore said that the incident took place at around 11 pm Saturday-Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Anand. The forest department official said that on Saturday-Sunday night, when Anand was sleeping with his family in a hut on the farm, then suddenly the leopard attacked and took Anand, who was sleeping there. Jahn Damor said that the family made a noise to save the child from the clutches of the leopard, but could not save him. Let us tell you that due to the leopard attack, there was a serious injury to the head and leg of the child due to which he died. Damore told that later the leopard left his body about 700 hundred feet away and went into the forest. According to the information, let us tell that they said that immediately after receiving information about the incident, the Forest Department and the police team reached the spot and made a panchnama of the case. Where he told that the family of the deceased will be given assistance of four lakh rupees. And rescue teams are being called from Indore to catch the leopard, so that such an incident does not happen again.
