Zomato Delivery Boy forced to raise 'Jai Shri Ram' slogan

Aurangabad: The case of forcibly raising Jai Sriram from a young man in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra has come to light. Four youths in the car reportedly stopped the Zomato delivery boy and his partner on the beach road and forced Jai Sri Ram to speak. The tension broke out in Bajrang Chowk in Aurangabad late last night after the incident came to light. Police rushed heavy police forces to the spot to control the situation and assured strict action against the accused.

Aurangabad Police Commissioner Chiranjeevi Prasad said that the incident took place at Bajrang Chowk in Aurangabad. In the complaint, victims Sheikh Amir and Nasir Nizamuddin said they were delivery boys at the Jomato company. When they got the order yesterday, they were going to Jalgaon Tee Point to pick it up. Meanwhile, four youths in a car near Bajrang Chowk stopped him and forced him to speak Jai Sriram.

Police Commissioner Chiranjeevi Prasad further said that the youth threatened to beat him if the victim refused Aamir. For fear of beating, Aamir said Jai Sri Ram. The youth then let them leave. As soon as the information about the incident spread to Azad Chowk in the city, hundreds of youths gathered. The police were also on alert to control the mob. Earlier, the situation went unchecked, Police Commissioner Chiranjeevi Prasad rushed to the spot and appealed for peace.
