Uddhav Thackeray congratulates Mamata on her victory, says to PM Modi: 'If you have done.... '

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray congratulated Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee for her victory last Sunday. In fact, mamata has won the CM chair in Bengal for the third time. The Trinamool Congress has already written its name on about 200 seats in the 292 assembly elections. Uddhav Thackeray has issued a statement on Mamata Banerjee's victory.

In this statement, he said, "Mamata Banerjee alone led bengal's fight for self-respect. All the credit for this victory goes to the Lioness of Bengal. The Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister, several Ministers of the Centre and chief ministers of several states had entered the west bengal fray to defeat Banerjee. But they defeated all these forces. I congratulate her and the people of West Bengal for their courage". At the same time, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra pointed to the Narendra Modi government at the Centre and said, "If everyone has done politics, let us now come together and focus on the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic".

Apart from him, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had also praised Mamata Banerjee last Sunday for calling her a "tigress of Bengal". Sanjay Raut had said, "BJP worked hard and invested a lot of money in elections in West Bengal but it is not easy to defeat Banerjee. Congratulations to the Tigress of Bengal". PM Modi himself congratulated Mamata Banerjee.
