Maharashtra extends lockdown till June 15, find out what is allowed and what not

Mumbai: The second wave of corona infection has reduced to a great extent. Many states have decided to open lockdowns, but this is not the case in Maharashtra. Infact, the government has extended the lockdown in the state by 15 days last Sunday. Yes, Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has issued a statement under the recent information received. The statement said, "The lockdown is being extended by 15 days, will now remain in force till June 15. It will introduce certain exemptions and restrictions based on cases of corona infection in the districts."

At the same time, the State Government has also issued a new guideline on lockdown. Under the information received, the new guideline suo-clock, "All essential shops which are currently allowed to operate between 7 am and 11 am can be allowed to operate between 7 am and 2 pm." Further, according to the Government of Maharashtra, restrictions will be relaxed depending on corona infection rate in lockdown and availability of oxygen and beds in hospitals.

Establishments, shops and other services can be scheduled from 7 am to 2 pm in municipal areas and districts where the infection rate is below 10% and oxygen beds are less than 40%. At present, it is from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. In addition, municipal corporations and districts with infection rates of more than 20% and 75% of oxygen beds where patients are admitted will be prohibited from commuting to these districts. The local disaster management authority will take a decision on shops and establishments selling goods other than essential commodities.
