Oxygen tank leaked in Nashik hospital amid pandemic, 171 patients shifted to another hospital

Nashik: The corona epidemic has created a hue and cry everywhere. The oxygen tank leaked at Zakir Hussain Hospital here on Wednesday following which there was an uproar. There were 171 patients in the hospital when the incident took place.

 

 

The admitted patients are being shifted to another hospital after the oxygen leak incident. Talking about the situation, State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the leakage has been controlled and no one has died. Let me tell you that there is a shortage of medical medical oxygen in the country at present. There is a shortage of oxygen in hospitals due to a sudden increase in corona cases. Oxygen is very difficult to get in many states, including the name of Maharashtra.

Government of India has assured the State Governments that oxygen will be provided to everyone at the earliest. The Oxygen Express was flagged off from Maharashtra to Visakhapatnam the previous day itself. The special train has been introduced by Indian Railways which will bring oxygen from Visakhapatnam. At the same time, the shortage of oxygen is visible not only in Maharashtra but also in many states including Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat. Some hospitals in Delhi have a few hours of oxygen left.
