Police got strip dance done by hostel girls, issue raised in assembly

Mumbai: A surprising case has come to light from the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. It is alleged that some policemen here forced the girls to take off their clothes in a women's hostel and also got them to do strip dance. On Wednesday, MLA Shweta Mahale raised the issue in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

After this, State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has formed a committee to investigate the matter and asked to submit the report in two days. According to the information received, this case is on March 1. A hostel is operated by the Women and Children Department in Jalgaon. In this hostel, some policemen and others forced the girls to remove their clothes and get them to dance.

In this hostel, women and girls are given shelter by the Department of Women and Children. However, questions were constantly being raised after this incident, after which the investigation on the matter has now been seated. The issue was also raised by members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the assembly. BJP members sought an answer from Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on this issue and demanded action immediately.
