Maharashtra: Ajit Pawar once again gets golden opportunity, CM Uddhav talks for about an hour

The Uddhav Thackeray cabinet of Maharashtra, the developed state of India, maybe expanded on 30 December. In this, NCP leader Ajit Pawar can be made deputy CM. On Monday, the cabinet expansion was discussed for nearly an hour between NCP chief Sharad Pawar and CM Uddhav. There was no Congress leader in the meeting. However, Shiv Sena leader and Home Minister Eknath Shinde said that only the Chief Minister will give any information about it.

In his statement, a senior NCP leader said, Ajit can take oath as deputy CM in the cabinet expansion to be held this week. However, NCP will first discuss this with Congress. Meanwhile, Sharad Pawar said, we are also waiting for the call to join the colleagues in the cabinet. On the same question, whether the names of ministers joining the cabinet are ready with NCP quota, Pawar said that our party will not take much time in it because we do not have to go anywhere else to get someone's permission. It is believed that Pawar's taunt is for his ally, Congress. There are reports that the cabinet expansion is delayed due to Congress.

Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit was also Deputy Chief Minister in the Congress-NCP government before 2014. After this assembly election, Ajit suddenly joined the BJP on 23 November and became deputy CM in the government headed by Devendra Fadnavis. However, within 80 hours, Ajit resigned and the Fadnavis government fell. Shiv Sena-NCP and six Congress ministers were also sworn in on 28 November under the leadership of Thackeray.
