MS Dhoni to sale Kadakath cock! Mahi's post-retirement plan surfaced

New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has announced his retirement from the international cricket team, has come out with a retirement plan. Captain cool, who is among the captains of the world-winning Team India, is now going to raise the Kadaknath a nutritious black chicken.  Dhoni's organic farm in Ranchi has ordered 2000 Kadaknath chicks from a poultry farmer in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh.

The owner of a poultry farm in Madhya Pradesh says Mahendra Singh Dhoni has ordered him for 2000 chicks of the Kadaknath species. He said, "Dhoni has approached us by finding out a friend who is from Ranchi Veterinary College. His demand is 2000 chicks to be supplied by December 15," said Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who played nearly 16 years of international cricket from Team India, who announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. Under Dhoni's captaincy, Team India won the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011 and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.

Why is the Kadaknath special?

The black meat of kadaknath is found to be very low in fat and cholesterol, while the protein content is much higher than that of other species of chicken. Kadaknath chicken also has therapeutic properties with different tastes. It is a rooster that has 1.94% fat while other chickens have 25% fat. While cholesterol levels are 59mg, the amount in other chickens is 218mg.
