Bengal elections: Mahua Moitra slams CM yogi Adityanath over anti-Romeo squad promise

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yogi Adityanath while addressing an election rally on 8 April said that the anti-Romeo squad will be formed if BJP wins in West Bengal. In response, Trinamool Congress (TMC) Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra said that his state likes Romeo.

Mahua Moitra tweeted that, "Listen to the latest statement of Ajay Bisht aka CM Yogi ..." If the BJP comes to power in Bengal, then anti-Romeo squads will be made" Guddu Ji, unlike your laity, Bengali people always heart loving people. We like our music, we like our poems, we like Mishti and yes we like our Romeos" There are many responses to this tweet from TMC MP.

Some people are pulling CM Yogi and BJP by seeing this tweet, while some are expressing their anger towards TMC. A user has written to Moitra that, "Don't put the poor culture of Trinamool on Bengalis". It will all end on May 2". Other users wrote that, "Yogi is proficient in all activities. Do not forget to underestimate him. Shame on you for making the state hooliganism and anarchy".
