Congress opens front against Twitter, find out why 'Main Bhi Rahul' is trending on social media?

New Delhi: The Indian Youth Congress and the Indian National Students' Union (NSUI) will protest against Twitter India over the "temporary suspension" of former party president Rahul Gandhi's Twitter handle today. Congress on August 7 said that the Twitter handle of the party's Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi has been temporarily suspended and he will continue to be associated with other social media platforms and keep raising the voice of the people.

It may be recalled that Twitter on Friday deleted Rahul Gandhi's tweet revealing the identity of relatives of a rape and murder victim in Delhi. The victim was a minor. Congress leaders also alleged that this has been done under pressure from the Central government. According to media reports, the Youth Congress will hold a protest outside the Twitter office in Delhi on Monday, while the National Students Union of India (NSUI), a student unit of the Congress, has announced a demonstration near the Parliament constituency.

Rahul Gandhi had met the victim's family and locals. He tweeted pictures with the girl's parents demanding justice for the victim's family. Wayanad MPs who attack the central government every day through Twitter have not been able to tweet for two days due to restrictions. The Congress said this late on Saturday evening, as well as said that 'the process of restoring the account was being carried out. When party leaders attacked Twitter and the Central government, Congress workers started the trend of 'Main Bhi Rahul.'
