According to a recent report, an official said he was talking to third-party companies like Travel and Make My Trip to work under the Government e-Marketplace (GeM).
For your information, agencies like Ashok Travel and IRCTC are currently working with the government. Official flight tickets are booked from the aviation companies' site. A travel spokesperson on the matter said: "Our priority is to give more discounts to customers and get a reasonable refund on the council ticket. We are currently in preliminary talks with the government and cannot say much about this partnership," a spokesman for Make My Trip declined to comment.
