Kuala Lumpur: The controversial Islamic religious preacher Zakir Naik, who has been accused of racist remarks against Hindus, has been banned from delivering religious speeches by Malaysian state Minister Melaka. According to local media, Melaka CM Adil Zahari said, "We want to maintain cordial relations here. That's why we have banned Zakir Naik from giving religious speeches or gathering people here." It is worth mentioning here that Melaka has become Malaysia's seventh state to ban Zakir. Earlier, the states of Johor, Selangor, Penang, Kedah, Parlis and Sarawak have banned Zakir Naik from delivering religious speeches. Meanwhile, the Malaysian government's agency will interrogate the controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik, who is fleeing India, for making racist remarks against Hindus. He will be summoned in this regard. Zakir Naik, who recently dominated Malaysia' Muslim, had said that Hindus had a lot of rights. In fact, Zakir Naik said that Hindus in Malaysia have 100 times more rights in the proportion of minority Muslims in India. The Indian community had strongly protested against the racist remarks. It was seen as a provocative remark against the right to mutual brotherhood, harmony and equality.
