Kharge accuses Modi government of snatching jobs of Dalits and backwards people through privatisation

New Delhi: Veteran Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said on Thursday that the Modi government is rapidly privatizing. Through this, he wants to end the jobs of Dalits, backward and economically weaker people. Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said these things while giving a press conference after the end of the budget session.

Targeting the Modi government, Kharge said that the Constitution Amendment Order for amending the SC and ST list of Tamil Nadu was pending for six years. Now that the assembly elections have come there, the Modi government has passed it from the Parliament. But lately, the government did this work and we welcome it. Congress leader said that we raised the most important issue in the house of rising prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and kerosene. We fought on this issue in the House for two days. We also asked the government about the Rs 22 lakh crore collected from excise and cess in 6 years, but the government did not reply.

Kharge further said that in the Parliament, we raised the second issue of the farmers. Our farmer brother has been sitting on the outskirts of Delhi for 120 days. We wanted to discuss the agricultural law, but the government gave the same answer 'what we have done is done, what you have to do you can do'. This is what happens when there is a brute majority and the BJP treats it like that.
