TMC Supremo's prediction on UP polls, tells how many seats SP will get in first phase

Lucknow: The two-phase polling in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections has been completed so far and the results of the elections in five states, including UP, are set to be announced on March 10. But even before this, Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has made a big prediction about the results of the first phase of the Uttar Pradesh elections.

The TMC supremo said that 58 seats went to polls in the first phase of Uttar Pradesh and the Samajwadi Party (SP) may win 37 of them. My estimate is that Akhilesh Yadav may get 37 out of 58 seats in the first phase of polling in western UP. With this, the TMC supremo said that Jats, Dalits, Brahmins in UP are united against the BJP. She said that Uttar Pradesh is a big state and the result there will act as an indicator for the entire country.

She said that if UP can be saved, then the entire country can also be saved from the BJP. Mamata Banerjee further said that the BJP can be defeated. Let us tell you that Mamata Banerjee is constantly engaged in uniting the non-Congress opposition parties. From Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin to KCR, she has started mobilising all the opposition against the BJP. Mamata Banerjee is eyeing the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and is trying to declare herself a contender for the PM's post.
