Mamta targets Maharashtra governor, says- 'some people working like BJP mouthpiece'

Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) Mamta Banerjee has targeted state governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for recommending President's rule in Maharashtra. Mamta Banerjee said on Thursday that some people sitting on constitutional posts are acting as mouthpieces of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). You must have seen people in my state trying to run a parallel government.

Mamta Banerjee further said that those sitting in constitutional posts should not support the central government and the central government should also take care of it. Mamta has said that I do not usually comment on constitutional positions of any kind, but some people are acting like BJP mouthpieces. Mamta said that the central and state governments are elected by the people and the federal structure should work as per the constitution. Governments should be allowed to do their work.
