West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday lashed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, branding him as the "biggest rioter", who will face an "even worse fate" than former US President Donald Trump. Banerjee, speaking at a rally at Sahaganj in Hooghly district, also said Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are spreading lies and hatred throughout the country. “He (Modi) keeps on saying that the Trinamool is a party of extortionists. What are you? You are the biggest riot monger,” said Mamata. "Narendra Modi is the biggest 'dangabaaz' (rioter) in the country... What has happened to Trump, he (Modi) will meet an even worse fate. Nothing can be gained from violence," she said. Warning the Prime Minister that he was “talking too much” the TMC supremo said that the people would tolerate for two more months and then he would realise who was stronger between the two. “Narendra Modi, you and your demon friend, you are talking too much. Talk some more for now. People will tolerate it for two more months and then you will realise who is stronger. By stronger I don’t mean stronger by muscle power but by the power of democracy,” said Mamata. She slammed the BJP government at the Centre over the CBI’s questioning of the wife of her nephew Abhishek Banerjee in relation to a coal pilferage case. CBI questioned Abhishek’s wife Rujira on Tuesday. “I do politics. You have assaulted me a lot of times. Think where they are hitting us these days. I have 46 stitches in my head. I was operated on in my head, stomach, eyes and hands,” said Mamata.
