New Delhi: West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has raised the issue of due GST in a meeting under the leadership of PM Modi on the Corona crisis. Mamta Banerjee has demanded from PM Modi that the central government should release the GST dues of the states. On the Corona crisis, Mamata Banerjee said that when the disease spreads, no one knows that it cannot be corrected immediately by pressing the hand. He said that Bengal is a sensitive state, it shares border with Bangladesh and Bhutan. Mamta Banerjee said that patients from these countries also come for treatment in Bengal, if the corona increases in Bangladesh then it also affects Bengal. In the meeting, Mamta Banerjee told that people from Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha also come to the state for treatment. Even after this, the death rate of corona in Bengal is quite low. Giving information, Mamta has said that apart from this, earlier people used to die from dengue and other diseases like kidney disease, but the number of deaths of those diseases is now negligible. Let us tell you that earlier on behalf of Mamta Banerjee, it was also accused of not giving the GST arrears to the Central Government, saying that the failure of the Center to do so would affect the economic structure of the state.
