Man dies of swine flu in Chandigarh

In Chandigarh, a 42-year-old man died of swine flu at PGIMER. The PGIMER official as per the sources news said 'Shyam was admitted to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research here a few days ago'

"He died due to swine flu this evening. He was admitted a few days back, but his condition worsened. The deceased was a resident of Sector 37 in Chandigarh," he said.

Earlier, health officials had said that fresh guidelines have been issued to city hospitals directing them to remain alert after some swine flu cases were detected.
