PM Modi mentions Tokyo Olympics in Mann Ki Baat

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the nation through the 'Mann Ki Baat' programme. This is the 78th programme of Mann Ki Baat, while this is the 25th edition of the Modi government 2.0. Speaking of Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi first remembered Milkha Singh. In the meantime, he said, "A few days ago, Corona snatched him from us.'' At the same time, PM Modi shared his interaction with Milkha Singh. "When he was in the hospital, I had the opportunity to talk to him," he said. While talking, ''I urged him. I said that you represented India at the Tokyo Olympics in 1964, so this time when our athletes are going to Tokyo for the Olympics, you have to boost the morale of our athletes, inspire them with your message.''

At the same time, PM Modi said, "If you answer questions in your quiz on the Olympics in My Government, you will win many prizes. There are a lot of questions in my government's 'Road to Tokyo Quiz' to participate in. How has India performed before? What is our preparation for the Tokyo Olympics now? Know all this yourself and tell others too. I would like to urge all of you to participate in this quiz competition.''

He also asked questions to the people of the country. He said, ''Often in 'Mann Ki Baat,' your questions are bombarded. This time I thought of something different, I should question you. So, listen carefully to my questions, he said. Who was the first Indian to win individual gold at the Olympics? India has won the highest number of medals so far in which Olympic games? Which athlete has won the most medals at the Olympics?''
