Wednesday, a man killed her 50 years old mother-in-law while her daughter was injured, hehit them with an axe in Pratapgarh district, police said.
The accused identified as Balu Meena who went to his mother-in-law's house last night and hit her with an axe. When his wife 25 years old Kesar came to rescue her mother Dhapudi Devi Meena, he smack her also, they said.
As per police report, Meena had a heated argument with his wife and mother-in-law earlier that day, following which he attacked them. However, body of mother-in-law found by their neighbors early this morning and Kesar is admitted to the hospital.
Police said the accused is absconding and efforts are on to apprehend him.
