In the outskirts of Lonavala hill station, a 38-year-old labourer allegedly strangled his wife and nine-year-old daughter before hanging himself in his house.
According to police as per the sources news said, Baban Dhindale, a resident of Okalaiwadi near Lonavala, also tried to kill his 11-year-old son Rohit by throttling him before hanging himself. However, Rohit survived as he passed out.
A police official as per the source news said Dhindale suspected his wife Dipali (32) of having an affair with a man living in their neighbourhood.
