Patna: A tragic incident has come to light in Bihar's capital Patna. Here a man threw two minor girls down from a 5-storey building. One girl died, while the other is fighting a battle between life and death in the hospital. After the incident, the mob pelted stones at the police who were taking the culprit away, in which 5 policemen were injured. The angry mob torched several vehicles. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
The same case pertains to the Bahadurpur police station area of Patna city. Satish Kumar, a local ward councillor, said Munna has a house in Ramakrishna Colony. The family of Nandlal Gupta, who runs a fruit business, lives here. He has two daughters, named Shalu and Saloni. The age of the younger daughter is 10 years, while the age of the older daughter is 12 years. On Thursday, a youth named Vivek Kumar threw the two girls down from the fifth floor. A child lost his life in it. The other is being treated at the hospital.
The same incident enraged the locals and pelted stones at the police who were carrying the culprit. The mob also torched several vehicles. Five policemen, including the SHO, were injured in the stone-pelting by the mob. According to locals, the culprit has not disclosed why he carried out the incident. The situation in the area has remained tense since the incident. The case is now being investigated by the police.
