Man who offered 11 lakh to shoot Kanhaiya is now under arrested

New Delhi: The man who claimed to be president of Purvanchal Sena and announced a reward to anyone who shoot JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar is now under arrest.

Delhi police arrested Adarsh Sharma on Monday.

A senior Police official said “Sharma has been arrested under charges of defacement of public property, abetment of offence punishable with imprisonment, public mischief, criminal intimidation and forgery” “adding investigation is underway and more charges can be added in the case” the official added. The poster in which Kumar seen stuck on a wall near press club, busses, metro station in New Delhi. The poster had written “whosoever shoot JNU students Union president and seditionist Kanhaiya will be rewarded Rs 11 lakhs on the behalf of Purnvanchal Sena” . Also, the poster carried number and name of Sharma.
