Manish Sisodia says, 12th Board Exam before vaccination is the biggest mistake

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia told the Center on Sunday, it will be a big mistake to conduct the class 12 board examinations before vaccinating the students. Besides, both the government and private school administration have recommended the cancellation of the Class XII Board Examination (CBSE Board) in view of the serious epidemic situation.

In his tweet in Hindi reads: ''Raised the demand for making arrangements for vaccinating Class 12 students before board exams at a meeting with the central government. Conducting the examination by toying with students' safety will prove to be a big mistake, First vaccine, and then exam.”

'' 95% percent of Class 12 students are above the age of 17.5 years. The Centre should talk to experts if they can be given Covishield or Covaxin vaccines.  The Centre should also talk to Pfizer for the vaccination of Class 12 students, Sisodia said.

The government is likely to take a final call on pending Class 12 board exams and subsequent entrance examinations that were postponed in view of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
