Actress Manvita Kamath has used the time she has got during the pandemic to work on upskilling, her fitness regime and diversifying her interests in cinema making. Actress Manvita Kamath said, ''All of us seem to be exhausted mentally. But, all of us seem to be passive viewers of everything, be it the shortage of resources, the confusion over the lockdown or curfew. There were a lot of incidents that affected me and put me in fix and got me worrying. I had to work hard on changing my mental pattern to ensure I didn't let anything affect me or my thought process. I eventually got there. People need to change that pattern and manifest good things and let their thoughts help them become better people.'' ''I wanted to be an actor, which I am today. I am passionate about just two things, cooking and cinema. I have seen the kind of work going into the films I have done so far, so I have realised that we don't give as much emphasis on the pre-production aspect. This led me to venture into space, where we look into all things into putting together a story pitch, brainstorming, storyboarding and then screenwriting. This process is a crucial part of filmmaking.'' ''I love writing stories. I don't have a process for this, I just have a sudden spark of imagination, which inspires me and pushes me write. I have been learning all aspects of cinema making too, right from pre-production to the eventual packing. We are a cinema crazy nation and we love our stars and celebrate them. But, the OTT platforms are making a difference. We have stars emerging from there now. These are not the conventional ones. Over there, content is the king and a star can be an additional plus point, only if the performance is good.'' she said Non-Malayali actresses who will be marking their debut in M-Town soon Vijay Milton has given Kollywood memorable films.
