New Delhi: Corona outbreak continues in the country. After Maharashtra, a large number of policemen have now been reported infected in Delhi. More than 300 policemen have been infected with corona in Delhi. These include several senior officials. According to Delhi Police, more than 300 policemen have been hit by corona so far. These include senior officers like Delhi Police Public Relations Officer, Additional Commissioner Chinmay Biswal.
A large number of policemen have also been infected with corona in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Not only that, many IPS officers in Mumbai have also been found corona positive. Here, 114 policemen have been found corona positive in the last 48 hours. While two have died of corona in the meantime. Meanwhile, 523 policemen have been hit by corona in Mumbai so far. These include 18 IPS officers. These include 1 Joint Commissioner, 4 Additional Commissioners, 13 DCP.
Coming to Delhi, 22,751 corona cases have been registered in the national capital in the last 24 hours. Not only that, 17 people have also died during this period. However, 10,179 people have also recovered from infection during this period. Active cases in Delhi have increased to 60733. So far, 14,63,837 people have recovered in the capital. The positivity rate in Delhi has gone up to 23.53 per cent.
