The MapmyIndia and VISIT partnered to help the government launch ' Swastha Bharat' m-health app. They have enabled telemedicine platform, the app allows citizens to access emergency ambulance services, find nearby hospitals, clinics, labs, pharmacy outlets and consult doctors and specialists over the phone. Rohan Verma, Director and CTO, MapmyIndia as per the sources news said "Citizens should be able to access primary health services around the clock, anywhere in the country. Our GPS technology and mapping data enable one-tap ambulance requests, thus helping the government build emergency response infrastructure for cities, towns and villages. Users can also look up nearest health centres, fix doctor appointments and order medicines from nearby pharmacies," The app will also solve the health queries of the user by giving answer through a chat-based health assistant.
