Maruti Suzuki to Increase Car Prices from Feb 1: Model-Wise Price Details Inside

Maruti Suzuki India, the country's largest automobile manufacturer, has announced a price increase across its entire range of vehicles starting February 1, 2025. The hike, ranging from Rs.1,500 to Rs.32,500 depending on the model, is aimed at addressing rising input and operational costs.

The company explained that increasing production costs have made it necessary to pass a portion of the burden onto customers. However, Maruti Suzuki assured buyers that it remains committed to optimizing costs and minimizing the impact on them.

Rising Costs Drive the Decision

Maruti Suzuki emphasized that the decision to increase prices is a strategic move to balance rising production expenses with the need to sustain operations and maintain high-quality standards. The company has been actively working to control costs internally while minimizing the financial burden on its customers.

Record Sales Performance

Despite the cost pressures, Maruti Suzuki has reported strong sales growth. The company sold 1,41,312 passenger vehicles in November 2024, compared to 1,34,158 units in the same month of 2023. Total vehicle sales, including domestic sales, sales to other OEMs, and exports, reached 1,81,531 units, reflecting consistent demand across markets.
