It is to be noted that one of the reasons for bringing the Brezza with the new engine is that the company will not upgrade the 1.3-liter Fiat DDiS 200 diesel motor to the BSVI emission norms. The new emission regulations will come into force from 1 April 2020. The company is preparing to bring a mid-life facelift for the Brezza whose spy image was also revealed.

Now this car will come with a petrol engine. This car will come with BSVI 1.5 liter four cylinder K15B SHVS petrol engine that will generate 104.7 PS power and 138Nm torque. According to media reports, the company has started production of petrol engine version. Talking about the price of petrol variant of Brezza, the starting price of this car can be Rs. 6 lakhs. In India, this car will compete with Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra's XUV 300 and Ford EcoSport.
