During this time, the bride's parents washed the groom's feet on the bed and gave their daughter. After all this, both started loving each other. They thought of getting married. Then both gave information to the family members. After knowing this, the people of boy's side agreed, but girl's side people refused to marry. The girl's people started finding a relationship for her somewhere else. On getting information about this, the boy tried to stop the marriage of the girl, when angry girls beat him up.
They attacked the boy. In this incident the boy broke his leg and was admitted to the hospital. The next day the matter reached the police station. Later the elders of the village intervened and tried to convince both sides. In the end, the girl's family members understood and got Jagdish and Srilakshmi married.
