Massive Fire Engulfs Two Girls' PGs in Noida's Sector 62, All Residents Safe

Noida: A significant fire erupted in two girls' PG accommodations located in Sector 62 of Noida, quickly spreading throughout the buildings. Fortunately, all the residents managed to escape in time, and there were no injuries reported. The fire was brought under control with the help of five fire brigade vehicles.

The incident occurred on Monday morning around 8:00 am, when the fire department received a report about a fire in the advertising hoarding outside Rainbow Residency Girls PG and Sonu PG in the Rasulpur Nawada area of Sector 62. Upon receiving the alert, fire teams swiftly arrived at the scene.

The fire is believed to have started due to a short circuit in the electric panel on the ground floor, which then spread to the first floor of both PGs. As the flames spread rapidly, the residents moved to the upper floors to escape the danger. The fire department worked diligently to evacuate everyone safely.

Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey mentioned that the fire service was notified at 7:53 am about the blaze in the two PGs. In response, five fire engines were immediately dispatched. The fire had started on the ground floor, triggered by a short circuit in the electric panel, which then ignited the hoarding and spread across the floor. Thanks to the quick response, all residents were safely evacuated, and the fire was fully contained without any casualties.
