Johannesburg: A South African Maulana, who recently returned after joining the program of Tablighi Jamaat Markaz of Nizamuddin, Delhi has died due to coronavirus epidemic. This information has been given by his family members. Maulana Yusuf Tutla (80) participated in the Tablighi Jamaat program in Nizamuddin Markaz, India from 1-15 March.

Apart from this, thousands of people from other parts of the world also participated in this event. After his death on Tuesday, Joseph's body was buried in a bag given by the Islamic Burial Council (IBC). A member of the cleric's family told local media on condition of anonymity that flu-like symptoms had started appearing in Tutla since he returned from India. Later, in private lab tests, it was found that he was corona virus-positive.

He said, 'After the treatment, there was some improvement in the health of Tutla till last week, but he started feeling ill again on Monday morning. His condition deteriorated rapidly and he died. '
