During the hearing of the case, the victim had turned hostile and her parents were also denying any crime. As per reports, the matter is dated 19th March 2020. Here in the Patel Nagar police station area of Dehradun, a father used to drive a taxi and feed his family. Apart from the wife, there was also a 14-year-old daughter in the house. A Maulana, about 30 years old named Zeeshan also lived next to this family. He used to teach Islam in the neighboring madrassa. He is basically a resident of the Purkaji police station area of Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The girl's father had gone out for some work on the day of the incident.

Giving information in his complaint, the victim's father said that on the day of the incident, his daughter was sweeping her yard. During this, the accused Zeeshan, who lives in the neighborhood and was already acquainted, asked the victim for water. When the girl trustingly reached the accused with water, Zeeshan locked her in a room in the madrasa. During this, he raped the minor. Later, he also threatened to kill her if she told anyone. The scared girl told the whole thing to her family members. The relatives lodged an FIR in the matter after which the police arrested Zeeshan on March 20, 2020. The case was registered under the POSCO Act and section 376 of the IPC.

Let us inform you that, during the hearing, the victim also retracted from her statement, as well as her parents also started retreating. However, the police continued their lobbying. During this, the medical reports of the accused Maulana Zeeshan, and the victim were helpful in solving the matter. While hearing the case, Special Judge POSCO Meena Deupa sentenced Zeeshan to 20 years in jail and a fine of Rs 50,000. Zeeshan will have to spend two more months in jail for not depositing the fine amount. Out of this Rs 50 thousand fine, Rs 40 thousand will be given to the victim.
