The girl was being killed in a road accident in Rewa on Saturday night. Batul Khalilwala, 18, a resident of Juni Indore area was a student of MBBS Ist year at Shyamshah Medical College, Rewa.
According to the police, she had gone for a picnic with 10 other medical students without even informing her hostel warden.
At the time of returning from the waterfall, the auto they were travelling in was hit by another vehicle near Pali village.
She was taken to Sanjay Gandhi hospital by her batchmates.
Her father was informed at around 9.30 pm.
College administration is taking action against students for the violation of hostel rules.
