The Indian Men team clinched their ninth consecutive win in the 50 over format and with this, they have successfully dethroned South Africa at the top of the ICC ODI Rankings. With the brilliant performance against the Australian team, the India defeated Australia by 50 runs. The Indian team was at second in the ODI rankings before the start of the ODI series against Aussies.India now has 5,599 points whereas South Africa has 5,957 points. Before this series, the Men in Blue in the 50-over format defeated Srilanks by 5-0. The Indian team with the great form of their players is already leading the ICC Test rankings. In the first ODI against Australia, the former registered a win which was played in Chennai. The third ODI between India and Australia is scheduled to be played at the Holkar stadium in Indore on Sunday.
