Mercedes advises auto industries to learn lesson from the BS III ban

The ban on Bharat Stage compliant vehicles was one of the hardest effecting steps in the business sector, as companies reported about their lakhs of units which are still kept in the firm without any registration or sale.

Supreme Court has banned the BS III compliant vehicles and vociferously ordered the firms not to sell those vehicles. The step is taken to reduce the pollution in the environment. As per the reports, the majority of the vehicles on the Indian roads are BS III.

Mercedes recently in which it advised to learn a lesson from the ban, Mercedes-Benz said, "We are realising that even if you obey everything strictly by the law that does not mean that the Supreme Court or any other body like the NGT cannot bring up issues that are pertinent and impact health in a negative way."

All the companies were shocked on the ban of BS III vehicles, as it was the main weapon of the companies, who were producing commercial vehicles to the large extent.
