Will the lockdown be extended for 15 more days?

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday feared expansion in Lockdown 4. He told that in the fourth phase of the ongoing lockdown across the country, 15 days can be extended further. On Thursday, he spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

For your information, let us tell you tell that in conversation with reporters after the tourism ministry event held in Panaji, the Chief Minister also said that following the rules of physical distance, restaurants, hotels, malls and gyms will be reopened in Goa. He told, 'I had a telephone conversation with Amit Shah yesterday. The current lockdown imposed by talks with them can be extended for 15 days. He further said that the graph of corona virus is increasing in the country and to reduce it, it is necessary to increase the lockdown.

Addressing the public further in his statement, Chief Minister Sawant said that there is a demand for reopening of restaurants, malls, gyms and hotels in Goa and hence the state government with the rules of physical distance from the Union Home Ministry, these activities Will request to start again. Sawant said, 'Most activities have started in Goa except for restaurants, hotels, malls, gyms, etc. We also believe that restaurants, malls and gyms should be opened with physical distance rules. Guidelines will be received by the Home Ministry by Saturday. There are currently 31 infection cases in Goa.
