Khagaria, Today, in an acid attack, a minor girl sustained burn injuries on her at a village in Khagaria district of Bihar.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Kumar Sinha said, "16-year-old girl was asleep in her house at Muskipur Kothi village when unidentified persons threw acid on her last night before escaping".
He added, "she has sustained burn injuries on the back of her neck and left arm".
The victim has been admitted to a private clinic.
A probe is on to find out the motive behind the acid attack, the DSP said.
