Chatra: A number of incidents are being reported from all over the country. A man named Lakhan Baiga belongs to the endangered primitive tribe. He has reportedly been missing for the past two months. Lakhan Baiga's wife had been visiting the police administration and the hospital for these two months, but she was disappointed everywhere. In fact, on October 20, Lakhan Baiga was returning home from Kunda with his wife. This led to a sudden deterioration in the health of Lakhan Baiga near Tikulia village. Thereafter, the local residents reported it to the Kunda chief. On this, the chief informed the medical in-charge of Kunda in hurry and sent Lakhan Baiga by ambulance to Chatra for treatment. He has not been able to return home since going to the hospital. In search of which his wife has been visiting the hospital and administrative offices for the last two months. The same Lakhan's destitute wife Sunita is visiting the police station, sometimes the block and sometimes the head man's house. So far, no one has shown any seriousness in finding her husband. According to Sunita, when she tried to get to know about her husband from the medical in-charge, she was asked to go to Hazaribagh. He refused to say anything on camera and assured to find Lakhan Baiga. The painful aspect of the whole matter is that Lakhan's wife is selling wood and feeding herself and her children as well as the old father-in-law. Instead of taking any strict action, the government system is making Lakhan's helpless wife go around government offices. Lakhan's wife has become both financially and mentally concerned as there is no other source of income in the house. Lakhan's wife's final hope is also being shattered by the administration's sluggish behaviour.
