Shimla: In the state, Industry Minister Bikram Singh has passed three amendment bills in the House to set up an investor contract to set up industry after investor meeting. The State Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Act Amendment Bill were introduced in the House. After this amendment, the workers will now be appointed as per the requirement of production in the industries. More than 20 workers can be put on contract as per requirement in industries. The labourers will be appointed on the contract of one year. There is no record of workers below 20. The same is arranged in the Himachal Pradesh Industrial Disputes Amendment Bill 2020 to attract more investor in the state. The Industrial Disputes Act of 1947 was not amended for a long time. It makes it easier to resolve the disputes of industries. According to the Make in India programme of the government, there will be ease of doing business in the country and the state. The closure of industries with 200 workers for some time had to seek permission from the government. The Himachal Pradesh Factories Amendment Bill 2020 has been amended to act on the investor. More than ten persons working in the factory and if the goods are not ready using electricity, they will be able to keep twenty labourers. All the work will be done in a planned manner.
