Shimla: Monsoon session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly has been decided. The session is scheduled to be released from September 7 to 18. 10 meetings are going to be held in the session. The meeting is going to be fiercely worded between the ruling party and the opposition. The government has organized a meeting of the monsoon session amid the growing period of Covid. Secretary of the Assembly Secretariat Yashpal Sharma has informed about this. According to the information received, the government used to call the monsoon session in August every year. This time due to Covid-19 infection, the session has been called late. The budget session also had to end early in March due to the outbreak of Covid-19 virus. Due to this, the meetings could not be completed. Now the government has decided to convene the monsoon session in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis so that issues of public interest can be discussed. Keeping in mind the Covid-19 transition, legislators will have to take special care of physical distance. In this regard, special guidelines will be issued by the Assembly Secretariat.
