Nasscom, a giant company of IT Sector, said on Thursday that IT sector still remains the largest employer of talent in the country. The company informed that top five Indian IT companies are planning to hire 96,000 employees in the financial year 2021-22. Nasscom's claim comes a day after Bank of America released a report that Indian software companies were going to cut 3 million jobs by 2022, helping them save $100 billion in annual salaries. With development in technology and automation, both IT jobs and their characters will develop, creating new jobs, Nasscom said. With 1,38,000 new jobs in FY21, the IT sector still remains the largest employer of talent in the country. The company has argued that domestic IT sector companies have a potential vaccine plan for 2021-22. The top 5 Indian IT firms are expected to add more than 96,000 employees to their staff figures. According to the company, "The industry is upskilling more than 250,000 personnel in digital skills and hiring more than 40,000 new skilled workers. It shows its commitment and investment towards faster growth in workforce capabilities. IT industry is on track to meet its objective of revenue of USD 300-350 billion by 2025."
