It is said that at the age of just 25, Lyudmila killed a total of 309 people with his sniper rifle, most of whom were soldiers of Hitler's army. Born on 12 July 1916 in a village in Ukraine, Lyudmila held arms in her hands at the age of just 14. According to Henry Sacada's book 'Heroines of the Soviet Union', Pavlychenko first worked in an arms factory, but later became a sniper (shooter) due to a boy.
