The court has dismissed the objection filed by the Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan in Sitapur Jail, his MLA wife Dr. Tajin Fatma and son Abdullah in the case of fraud. The MP and his son will now remain in Sitapur Jail. However, in the case of Dr. Tajin Fatma, wife of the MP, the court has freed the administration to take this decision. If the administration wishes, the MLA Dr. Tajin Fatma can be shifted to Rampur Jail. It is also being said that MP Azam Khan and his family are lodged in Sitapur Jail in a fraud case. This case is about making two birth proofs of his son Abdullah Azam. The court ordered attachment of all three when they were not present. After this, on 26 February 2020, the MP, his wife and son surrendered in the fraud case. The court sent all three to judicial custody Rampur district jail. At five in the morning of 27 February 2020, the three were shifted to Sitapur Jail. According to the information received, the District Magistrate had conducted an inquiry on the complaint of Bar Operator Gagan Arora and after the inquiry, the allocation was cancelled. A lawsuit was filed against the wife and son of the MP, in which the police had filed a charge sheet against both. The case is going on in court. In this, the son and wife of the MP have given an application for bail, which will be heard on Thursday. Time was sought by the prosecution.
